Kniphofia Rooperi – Red Hot Poker

This ‘Red-hot poker’ produces gorgeous spikes of bright red flowers that fade to yellow in the autumn. The leaves are strap shaped, creating a grass-like effect surrounding the flowers. As it is evergreen, this foliage will remain year-round. This is a great plant to add some dimension to your garden as it can be placed amongst plants of varying sizes.
This plant enjoys loamy and sandy soil that is well-drained and kept moist. Plant in a sunny position for the best growth and flower displays.
