One of the best evergreen ground cover plants available. Juniperus squamata ‘Blue Carpet’ is excellent for creating a fast spreading silvery-blue mat of dense prickly foliage. This conifer brings cool tones and year-round interest to the garden.
Ideal for borders, rockeries or cascading over walls, this tough and versatile plant is perfect for adding texture and suppressing weeds. Plant in full sun in well-drained soil, and once established, it requires minimal maintenance, making it an excellent choice for easy-care gardens. With a 10-year height & spread of around 20cm x 1.5-2m, if you have a difficult, ugly area to deal with, try these en masse to cover it.
