Ilex Aquifolium Pyramidalis – Large Holly Bush

Ilex aquifolium ‘Pyramidalis’ – or Holly, as we know it more commonly – is a classic garden plant, and for good reason. The dark glossy leaves are evergreen, lasting for the whole year. The leaves alone would make for beautiful winter interest, but this plant offers more; displays of red berries appear in the autumn and winter.
This plant will grow in any well-drained soil and is happiest in full sun or partial shade.
