Hydrangea Serrata Pink Petticoat

Another great Hydrangea variety that is perfect for the smaller garden or patio, reaching just fifty-centimetre height and width.
This plant has deep green heavily serrated leaves that cloak the multiple branches making for a dense compact plant. In spring, light pink flowers form in clusters and darken over time, lasting quite a while. Autumn sees the leaves turn dark red for a superb end of season display
In late winter cut back the plant by a third or simply dead head the spent flowers, his helps encourage new growth for that will produce the coming seasons blooms.
This is a hardy plant that tolerates nearly all soils. It needs moisture but avoid waterlogging. It is happy in any aspect but shelter from very cold winds.
