Hydrangea serrata ‘Intermedia’ also known by Hydrangea serrata ‘Acuminata’ is a compact, upright, bushy, deciduous shrub with prominently veined, ovate, pointed, dark green leaves. It blooms from purple-red to blue buds which open to white flowers, often with pink or red edges from mid-summer into early autumn. The compact size of shrub makes it perfect for a large container or a border. Best planted in full sun or part shade. Height 90-100cm.
