Bright, zesty foliage in shades of golden-green makes Origanum vulgare ‘Thumbles Variety’ as ornamental as it is useful in the kitchen. It forms a neat, bushy mound of aromatic leaves, releasing a classic herbal scent when brushed or picked. In summer, it produces delicate flowers that attract bees and other pollinators. Perfect for herb gardens, edging and container planting.
Grow in well-drained soil in full sun, trimming regularly to encourage fresh growth and prevent it from becoming woody. Harvest leaves as needed and cut back after flowering to maintain shape.
