Hamamelis Diane (Ruby Glow) – Witch Hazel – Large Specimen

The best red-flowered variety of winter flowering favourite Hamamelis, better known as Witch Hazel. This variety is a stunning companion to the striking red and orange stems of Cornus ‘Midwinter Fire’ – the colours are almost luminous above a carpet of snow.
 
Interesting, Diane and Ruby Glow are separate varieties, but have become conflated and indistinguishable in the horticultural trade over the years, only surviving in national collections and botanic gardens as distinct cultivars.
