Gold Privet Hedging – Ligustrum Ovalifolium Aureum – Circa 100-120cm

This variegated Privet hedge plant is well-known for its bright green leaves with yellow margins that sprouts creamy white flowers in mid-Summer, occasionally followed by a glossy black berry in autumn. Ligustrum ovalifolium is perfect for hedging and is considered evergreen or semi-evergreen depending on your locality, as it will experience some minimal leaf fall during the winter months. Very rarely this shrub can lose all of its leaves when grown in more exposed regions or throughout colder periods, but do not worry as fresh new foliage appears again in Spring. Privet hedging is one of the most popular choices for hedging due to its dense foliage, making it ideal for creating privacy in your garden. These plants are supplied in 2-3 litre containers at an approximate height of 100-120cm (circa 3-4ft). This hedge will grow to an ultimate height and spread of 2.5-4 metres/8-13ft, but pruning can keep it much smaller if desired.
