We’ve brought together 5 of our favourite double-flowered hardy Geraniums in one superb collection. Each variety has been carefully selected for its colour and garden performance, featuring layer upon layer of petals on every flower. Hardy Geraniums are a delight in summer – their finely cut foliage forms attractive mounds that soften the edges of perennial borders. These hardy perennial Cranesbills are a ‘must have’ for any cottage garden planting scheme. Height and spread: 45cm (18). Collection comprises: Geranium pratense ‘Plenum Violaceum’ – An RHS AGM variety with deep violet, double blooms. Geranium ‘Double Jewel’ – Double white blooms with purple-pink centres on compact plants.Geranium himalayense ‘Birch Double’ – . Double purple-pink blooms stand above serrated foliage which turns to red and orange in autumn.Geranium pratense ‘Plenum Caeruleum’ – Double blue flowers flushed with pink. Geranium pratense ‘Summer Skies’ – May look delicate but this hardy herbaceous perennial is tough and undemanding.
