Gazania plants (also known as Sun Daisy) are popular annuals or perennials, originating from South Africa. These hardy plants are perfect for adding a pop of colour to sunny borders, sandy soils, rockeries, and containers where their beauty can be experienced up close. Gazania New Day Red Stripe, a striking member of our collection, produces large daisy-like blooms with creamy white petals boldly striped and flushed with rich red tones around a contrasting dark central eye. Flowering continuously from late spring until summer, it provides outstanding colour through the warmest months and attracts pollinators to the garden.
This drought-tolerant variety thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. It also does well in situations that other plants might find difficult, including coastal or rocky regions.
