A very distinctive hardy fuchsia that boasts unusual, tri-coloured flowers. The slender, pendant blooms have red and white outer sepals with contrasting deep purple inner petals. Fuchsia magellanica ‘Arauco’ forms an erect, deciduous shrub that is fast-growing and low maintenance. Flowering from June through to October, it provides a long season of colour in borders or containers and can even be used as an informal hedging plant.
