French Marigold – Durango Bolero

‘Durango Bolero’ is a spectacular type of French marigold that produces a stunning display of bi-coloured blooms. The striking contrast between the deep mahogany petals and the vivid yellow tips of the petals on this marigold is striking. ‘Durango Bolero’ is well-known for its steady growth and abundant blooms, making it a great choice for bringing some colour to bedding arrangements, borders, and container gardens. 
The ‘Durango Bolero’ thrives in full light, but it also needs well-drained soil and frequent watering, particularly in dry spells. This species is well-known not only for its attractive appearance but also for its capacity to ward off pests, which makes it a sensible option for interplanting with vegetables or other insect-sensitive garden plants. Extending the flowering duration can be achieved by deadheading the spent blooms.
