Delphinium Guinevere

The delicate, pastel pink blooms of delphinium ‘Guinevere’ adorn long, graceful spikes, lending a romantic touch to any garden arrangement. Early to midsummer blooms on this cultivar create a striking contrast with its dark green leaves. Reaching up to 150 cm in height, it provides a visually arresting vertical element that looks great at the back of borders or as the focal point of a cottage-style garden.
‘Guinevere’ should be planted in rich, well-drained soil, in full sun to partial shade, for best growth. It has to be staked, especially in exposed or windy areas, to help sustain its tall spikes. For a classic cottage garden palette, pair it with whites and deep blues; alternatively, go with plants with silvery leaves for a more modern appearance.
