Dahlia Veronne’s Obsidian
£5.97
Dahlia ‘Veronne’s Obsidian’ is a truly distinctive and captivating variety! Its dramatic, nearly black-purple petals are narrow and elegantly twisted, perfectly framing a bright, sunny-yellow central disc. This single-flowering dahlia is a magnet for pollinators, making it an excellent, eco-friendly choice for adding moody, sophisticated contrast to your summer and autumn garden. Compact and free-flowering, it brings a modern, artistic edge to any space and is sure to be a favourite for those who love unique, structured blooms.
To plant them, dig a hole at least 20-30cm square and around 20-30cm deep for each one. Cover the base of the hole with 10cm of compost or manure and give it a good dousing with a full watering can and then plant the dahlia at a depth of 15-20cm. It will need to be lifted in winter – once the foliage dies back simply dig it up and store in a cool, frost free location.
Supplied as a bare root tuber.
