Dahlia Spartacus

Dahlia ‘Spartacus’ is a truly bold and commanding variety! Its massive, deep red blooms are incredibly dramatic, featuring broad, slightly curled petals that create a wonderful sense of depth and texture. As a standout decorative dahlia, it brings an intense, rich splash of colour to the garden during the summer and autumn months. With its strong stems and impressive size, it makes for absolutely stunning cut flowers that provide a powerful focal point in any arrangement or garden display.
To plant them, dig a hole at least 20-30cm square and around 20-30cm deep for each one. Cover the base of the hole with 10cm of compost or manure and give it a good dousing with a full watering can and then plant the dahlia at a depth of 15-20cm. It will need to be lifted in winter – once the foliage dies back simply dig it up and store in a cool, frost free location.
