Dahlia Babylon Lilac

Dahlia ‘Babylon Lilac’ is a magnificent, show-stopping variety! These enormous blooms are beautifully formed with broad, slightly curled petals in a vibrant, glowing shade of lilac-pink. It is a fantastic decorative dahlia that provides a bold, cheerful presence throughout the summer and autumn months. Growing to a robust height, it makes a real statement in the garden and produces impressive, long-lasting cut flowers that are sure to be the highlight of any floral display!
To plant them, dig a hole at least 20-30cm square and around 20-30cm deep for each one. Cover the base of the hole with 10cm of compost or manure and give it a good dousing with a full watering can and then plant the dahlia at a depth of 15-20cm. It will need to be lifted in winter – once the foliage dies back simply dig it up and store in a cool, frost free location.
