Dahlia ‘Aloha’ is a stunning variety of semi-cactus Dahlia. In mid-summer it produces simply stunning blooms of yellow, almost spiky petals sat atop ball-like flower heads. Each petal has a superb, fiery red tip. Great plant for bringing some warmth to the garden. Looks fantastic planted in a border amongst yellow, red and orange coloured flowers. Easy to grow and care for and will reward you for many years to come by producing these spectacular blooms.

This plant is supplied as a single tuber. Best time to plant is in April. To plant them, dig a hole at least 20-30cm square and around 20-30cm deep for each one. Cover the base of the hole with 10cm of compost, or manure and give it a good dousing with a full watering can and then plant the dahlia at a depth of 15cms. You may need a stout stake, not just a bamboo cane, to support each plant and it is a good idea to knock this in first and then place the plant by its side. Plant in a sunny spot and keep moist yet well-drained. It will need to be lifted in winter – once the foliage dies back simply dig it up and store in a cool, frost free location.

IF ORDERING EARLY, PLEASE NOTE THAT WE SHIP THIS ITEM BETWEEN MARCH & THE END OF APRIL TO ENSURE IT ARRIVES IN PRISTINE CONDITION, AT THE IDEAL PLANTING TIME.
