Cythia ‘Highland Lace’ is a beautifully textured fern, prized for its finely divided, lace-like fronds in soft green with a delicate, upright habit. This compact and elegant fern adds a touch of woodland charm and graceful movement to shaded areas, making it ideal for softening borders, underplanting trees, or pairing with other shade-loving plants.
Thrives in partial to full shade with moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil. Water regularly during dry spells and mulch in spring. Perfect for woodland gardens, shaded containers, or mixed foliage plantings alongside hostas, brunnera, and heuchera.
