Cupressus ‘Castlewellan Gold’ – Standard Tree – Circa 100cm

The eye-catching evergreen conifer Cupressus ‘Castlewellan Gold’ is well-known for its vivid golden-yellow foliage that holds its colour all year long. This common tree, standing about 100 cm tall, gives any garden or landscape a sense of refinement and structure. Its neatly rounded form and dense, feathery foliage make it an excellent choice for formal garden designs or as a focal point.
 
Planting and Maintenance: Plant in full sun to partially shaded, well-drained soil. Water frequently in the first growing season to create a broad, deep root system; as the tree gets older, water less frequently. To keep the shape you want, lightly prune any dead or damaged branches away. “Castlewellan Gold” creates a harmonious combination when paired with other evergreens and flowering shrubs.
