Cucumber Marketmore is a reliable and easy-to-grow variety that produces high yields and has a fantastic taste. This outdoor variety produces medium to long, dark green cucumbers with a crisp texture and a mild, refreshing flavour. It’s slightly ridged and ideal for slicing or salads, resistant to common diseases, and grows well in UK gardens.
Sow in full sunlight in fertile, well-drained soil once the threat of frost has passed. Water periodically and mulch to keep moisture in. Support with netting or allow to spread. Pair with marigolds to naturally prevent pests and enhance crop yield. Suitable for allotments, garden beds, and big pots.
