Valued for its exceptional autumn colour, Cotinus coggyria ‘Ruby Glow’ delivers a beautiful display. In summer, it bears ruby-red flowers with rich purple foliage, creating a soft, cloud-like effect, adding texture and drama to mixed borders, large containers or excelling as a striking standalone specimen. As the autumnal months appear, the foliage deepens to stunning, fiery shades of red and orange.
This hardy shrub thrives in full sun and moist, but well-drained soil, where it will develop the most intense colouring.
