Climbing Ipomoea Scarlet O’Hara – Morning Glory Vine

Perfect as both a fast-growing climber or bedding plant, Ipomoea ‘Scarlet O’Hara’ is bold and versatile, producing deep crimson-red flowers with bright white throats. Blooming from summer through to early autumn, the trumpet-shaped blooms appear in abundance, creating a rich splash of colour. Fast to establish and easy to grow, it provides effortless seasonal impact.
Ideal for cottage gardens, trellises and sunny borders, it pairs beautifully with clematis, climbing roses and dahlias for a warm, summer scheme. Plant in full sun in well-drained soil, provide support if grown as a climber, and water regularly during dry periods. Like all morning glories, its flowers open with the morning sun and close by afternoon, with fresh blooms appearing daily to keep the display going.
