Clematis Blue Angel is a free-flowering variety that produces masses of delicate, ruffled, pale lavender-blue flowers with ivory stamens from early summer to the start of autumn. Its delicate, star-shaped blossoms and robust growth make it ideal for trellises, obelisks, fences, or weaving between shrubs and roses.
It thrives in full sun to partial shade in moist well-drained soil with roots kept cool and sheltered. Prune sparingly in early spring. Combine with Roses, Hydrangea, or lavender for a fresh, layered look with delicate tones and long-season appeal. Suitable for cottage gardens and pollinator-friendly areas.
