Chionodoxa luciliae, also known as Glory-of-the-Snow, is a charming early spring bulb that produces starry flowers in shades of soft lavender-blue with a white centre. Its dainty blooms appear just as winter fades, offering a welcome splash of colour to garden borders, rockeries, and beneath deciduous shrubs. Low-growing and naturalising readily, this species forms attractive carpets of colour over time and pairs beautifully with other early-season bulbs. such as yellow Narcissi, Crocus ‘Vernus Purple’, Iris reticulata ‘Harmony’, and Puschkinia scilloides var. libanotica.
Plant Chionodoxa luciliae in well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Space bulbs 5–8 cm apart and plant them at a depth of 8–10 cm. For best effect, plant in generous groups of 10 or more. This variety pairs beautifully with other early-flowering bulbs
Supplied as a pack of 20 bulbs.
