Chilli Pepper Plant ‘Mammoth Jalapeno’

The chunky chilli built for stuffing and slicing, Capsicum annuum ‘Mammoth Jalapeno’, is a robust and productive variety, prized for its larger fruits and classic flavour. The peppers can reach over 13cm in length, starting at deep green and maturing to red from mid to late summer. With a heat of around 2000-5000 Scoville units, they also work quite well sliced onto nachos or added to salsas.
Grow in fertile, well-drained soil in a warm, sunny position to maximise growth and fruit size. Water regularly and feed consistently throughout the growing season to support heavy cropping, removing any damaged foliage as needed. An excellent choice for home growers.
