Chaenomeles Speciosa Orange Storm – Double Flowering Quince

Fully double, bright orange blooms make a bold display throughout the spring, providing pollinating insects with a valuable source of early nectar. Chaenomeles ‘Orange Storm’ is a showy deciduous shrub with a particularly robust habit.
 
Once established this tough, resilient shrub shows superb tolerance to both heat and drought making it useful as a hedging plant or specimen shrub on dry soils. Unlike many Flowering Quince, this robust shrub produces neither thorns nor fruit so it is particularly easy to prune reaching around 150cm if left to its own devices.
