This is a beautiful variety of Camellia with dark, glossy green leaves and beautiful deep red blooms. The flowers are produced in mid-spring and the gorgeous foliage stays year-round. This is a great addition to mixed borders, cottage gardens and flower beds to add a bit of height.
This plant will grow nicely in any well-drained, acidic soil but avoid chalk soils. It enjoys partial shade in a sheltered position.
