Plants perform well on a range of soil types and produce an outstanding number of buttons per stem for late season use. Sprouts boast a distinctive but delicate flavour and plants show good disease resistance, making them ideal for the home gardener, and good holding ability, ensuring a long harvest period (November-January). Good holding ability ensures good post-Christmas harvests. Tom says: Ideal for harvesting fresh for Christmas dinner, although the humble sprout is perfect for much more than just Christmas. Steamed and then stir-fried with smoked bacon it’s a welcome addition to any winter dish.
