Thriving in a sunny position, although tolerating light shade, ‘Pablo F1’ prefers fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil and benefits from a sheltered growing location. Regular watering during dry spells helps maintain tender, evenly sized roots, while minimal maintenance is required beyond occasional weeding. Harvest young roots for sweet baby beetroot or allow them to mature for larger crops suitable for storage. Companion planting with nasturtium and lavender can help deter common pests while making efficient use of growing space.
