Azalea Mollis Viscosa – Knaphill Rhododendron

The Knaphill Rhododendron, or Azalea mollis Viscosa, is a deciduous shrub that is prized for its gorgeous, fragrant blooms. Blooming in shades of white, pink, and yellow, it produces a breathtaking display from late spring to early summer. The large, funnel-shaped flowers fill the vase. Gardeners love this variety because it is hardy and low maintenance.
Ideal as a focal point in a shady spot, in mixed borders, or in woodland gardens. For best results, plant in acidic, well-drained soil with some shade. It will reward you with breathtaking blooms year after year if you give it regular watering and mulching.
