Azalea ‘Knaphill Red’

This reliable Knaphill hybrid brings deep red flowers into the late spring and early summer garden just as spring bulbs are fading. Big clusters of small, deep red, trumpet-shaped flowers are borne in profusion from May to June. After flowering the deciduous foliage displays excellent autumn colour before falling. Perfect for woodland borders with acid soil, foundation plantings or containers filled with ericaceous compost.
