Azalea Japonica Palestrina – Dwarf Japanese Rhododendron-Evergreen

The lovely dwarf evergreen shrub Azalea japonica ‘Palestrina’ adds a touch of refinement to your garden. In late spring, this variety yields gorgeous pure white flowers that are frequently slightly tinted with green. Its glossy green foliage, which is vibrant all year round, contrasts sharply with the delicate blooms. Because of its small size, it is ideal for mixed borders, patio pots, and smaller gardens.
 
Plant in a partially shaded area in acidic, well-drained soil. Avoid waterlogging and keep the soil evenly moist. After flowering, trim the soil lightly to preserve its shape. For a classic and well-coordinated garden display, combine the Azalea ‘Palestrina’ with other acid-loving plants like Heathers or Camellias.
