A great all-arounder, the Red Falstaff Apple Tree produces abundant crops of vivid red apples with a crisp, refreshing bite and the ideal ratio of sweetness to acidity. This adaptable variety is perfect for juicing, adding to recipes, or eating fresh. The tree also attracts wildlife like bees to your garden with its beautiful white-pink blossom show in the spring.
It is a great option for compact gardens because it is a self-fertile tree that consistently bears fruit without the assistance of a pollinator. 
Plant in full sun with well-drained, fertile soil. The Red Falstaff is low-maintenance, requiring only light pruning in winter to maintain its shape and encourage healthy fruiting.
Supplied in approx. 12 litre containers at 150-170cm tall grafted on a M26 rootstock, which produces a tree of moderate vigour suitable for most situations where fruit is of a nice pickable height. Trees are easily maintained at a manageable size and never reach more than around 3m tall.
