Amelanchier Lamarckii, commonly known as ‘June Berry’ or ‘Snowy Mespilus’, is a versatile tree that brings year-round beauty to the garden. In early spring, it bursts into life with clouds of star-shaped, pure white flowers, contrasting beautifully with emerging coppery-bronze leaves. As the flowers fade, the foliage matures to lush green before transforming into a spectacular display of red, orange, and gold in autumn. By early summer, small, edible, dark purple-black berries appear, attracting birds and adding seasonal interest.
Thriving in moist, well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade, Amelanchier Lamarckii is perfect as a specimen tree, in mixed borders, or as part of a wildlife garden.
