Achillea Tricolour

Achillea ‘Tricolor’ is a showy perennial with a striking tapestry of colours. This form bears flat clusters of flowers in shades of red, yellow, and pink. It is well known for how easily it is cultivated and its tolerance to drought, but it also produces a very extended blooming time from early summer right through to late autumn. Its leaves are fine, and ferny, contributing textural contrast to the overall aesthetic value. Achillea ‘Tricolor’ adapts best in full sun conditions and reaches its full potential in well-drained soils. It works well on the front row of borders or in cottage gardens, where the nice and pleasant ground cover will be right at home.
