Acer Rubrum ‘October Glory’ – Red Maple – Circa 2m Tall

Set your garden ablaze with the spectacular ‘October Glory’ Red Maple, prized for its brilliant orange-scarlet foliage that lasts well into autumn. In early spring, it produces small, crimson-red flowers before the glossy green leaves unfurl, creating a lush canopy. As the seasons shift, this tree steals the spotlight with one of the longest-lasting autumn displays of any maple.
Ideal for large gardens, avenues, Japanese-style gardens, or as a dramatic specimen tree, ‘October Glory’ thrives in full sun to light shade and prefers moist, acidic, well-drained soils. It’s a low-maintenance tree, just prune in late winter if shaping is needed. Its fiery tones contrast beautifully with pale-flowering shrubs such as hydrangeas or viburnum. Plant in a spacious, sunny position where it can shine through all seasons—especially autumn.
